The Law of Ukraine "On Housing Fund for Social Purpose", as well as other laws and by-laws and regulations of Ukraine provide for a number of benefits for large families. Today we talk about housing and land.
Mothers who have been awarded the title "Mother Heroine", large families who need to improve their living conditions are provided with residential accommodation in the first place (Article 45 of the Housing Code of Ukraine).
Families with five or more children, as well as the birth of one woman at the same time three or more children - housing is provided out of turn (Article 46 of the Housing Code, Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On Housing Social Fund").
Large families do not lose their right of first-priority receipt of residential premises even when children become of majority after they are registered in the apartment registration (p.44 of the Rules of Accounting for Citizens in Need of Improving Living Conditions and Providing them with Premises approved by the Cabinet of Ministers).
Mothers who have been awarded the title “Mother Heroine” enjoy the right to priority housing, regardless of the age and place of residence of children (Instructions for completing the state statistical observation form No. 4 of the housing fund “Report on the apartment line and the provision of residential premises”, approved by order of the State Statistics Committee 09/07/2007 No. 340, registered with the Ministry of Justice September 27, 2007 No. 1120/14387).
Families or single mothers and fathers who have three or more children, as well as in the case of twins are born, have the right to receive apartments or homestead (single-family) dwelling houses from the housing social fund in the first place if they have the right to receive such housing (Article 12 Law of Ukraine "On Housing Social Fund").
Large families with minor children at their request, residential premises are provided on the lower floors or in houses with elevators (Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "On housing funds for social purposes", paragraph 5 of the Order of providing social housing, as well as taking into account the area of housing owned a citizen who is provided with an apartment or a manor house (one-apartment) dwelling house from social housing fund, approved by the CM resolution of July 23, 2008 No. 682).
